# Reminds Pro Limits

Knowing what Reminds Pro can and cannot do helps you set up reminders that save cleanly the first time. These limits keep the app fast and reliable for every team.

# Platform

  • Microsoft Teams only: Reminds Pro runs inside Microsoft Teams so your team stays in one place. It is not offered as a standalone web or desktop app.

# Reminder content

  • Title: up to 30 characters. A title is required for every reminder.
  • Description: up to 200 characters. The description is optional.
  • Tab name: up to 30 characters. The name cannot be empty, cannot start with an underscore or a period, cannot end with a period, and cannot use these characters: ~#%&*{}+/:<>?|'

# Scheduling rules

  • No past times: the reminder time cannot be set in the past.
  • End date after the reminder: for a recurring reminder, the reminder date cannot be later than the end date.
A reminder needs at least one participant under Notify these participants, otherwise no notification can be sent.

# Recurrence

  • Recurring reminders require Reminds Pro Platinum. On the free experience a reminder fires once. Upgrade to Platinum to set a frequency of every hour, every day, every week, every month, or every year.
